Le jardin plastique (Experience activity)

The plastic garden is a program, which was developed by the Education Team of Le Centre Pompidou by applying the creative principles of works of graphic designer Christophe Dalecki.
Christophe Dalecki has operated a program to allow children from a children's hospital to make an artificial garden with plastic, which was aimed to broaden the scope of creation by transforming objects in our daily lives.

This program enabled child patients who cannot freely play in the mature to imagine how the nature is, and turned ordinary objects into the nature through imagination.
Changing ordinary objects in our daily lives into artworks does not require special talents. When we see ordinary objects from a different perspective, we can watch unexpected, artistic aspects of the objects.

The Plastic Garden shows imaginary moments where object in our daily lives are turned into the nature. Our daily items become petals and stamen of flowers, trees and bushes, and ultimately build a garden.
A variety of green colors artificially made are joined together to complete a rich color palette. This exhibition aims to amuse the audience by turning our daily objects into artworks and giving an oppurtunity to imagine mysterious moments in the nature.

Anyway, let's go for the experience activity.
We arrived in Kyung-nam art center at 3:30pm, and get some information regarding green color and some unique plants for 10 minutes.

My children try to watching some other places and looks not interested in the class. This picture demonstrate that they have same DNA with me.

We start to make our creation with big concentration for an hour, finally make an extraterrestrial plant. My son looks proud on his creation.

As a final step, we planted our creations on the ground with sincerely and take a photograph to commemorate this moment.

This event will continue until August 31, so i hope that as many people as possible can attend and enjoy this event together.
