Society of the Four Arts Sculpture Garden in Palm Beach
On my trip to Florida this week, I visited the Society of the Four Arts’ Philip Hulitar Sculpture Gardens. It offered a nice respite from the heat and sun of southern Florida. It is a beautiful little garden with a couple dozen pieces of sculpture, fountains and a very ornate pavilion.
This sculpture of a parrot sitting on a heart was one of my favorites.
The pavilion had a fountain in front of it with a pair of dolphins jumping out of the fountain.
The Chinese garden had a nice variety of bromeliads and I found this little fellow lounging on one of them.
The two bromeliads below were different colors than I had seen in the past. The purple and yellow really pop in the first one.
This one looked like it was zebra striped.
We spent a little time cooling off under this pergola and I got a shot through the latticework of one of the sculptures of a duck wing.
The garden is only a few blocks from the Worth Avenue shopping area, is free, and is a nice place to wander for an hour if you are in Palm Beach.
You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It should be pavilion instead of pavillion. Thanks @grammarnazi! 😁

It was a nice place to hang out for a little while.
