JWildfire: experiments with the base fractal "Rainbow Galaxy" part 3

in #art6 years ago

Hello!
Today, I continue to experiment with plugins in the basic rainbow galaxy fractal. In last lesson we looked at the first two triangles, moving on to the third.

In the third triangle, as many as four plug-ins are used. The first is pre_blur with a small value = 0.0466247. Reducing this value does not give any visible changes, and the increase adds a blur to the picture, but this is hardly noticeable in the preview. Therefore, I immediately turn to replacing this plugin with another. But almost none of the plugins came up. The only one that gave at least some noticeable result is hyperbolic = 0.5:

Again I load the basic parameters and go to the second plugin in the third triangle. This ztranslate = 0.1651653. And this plug-in has neither a decrease nor an increase. I replaced it with tree_js:

After loading the parameters of the base fractal, I proceed to the third plugin (I hope the results will be more interesting than the previous two). This is a wedge_julia plugin with a rather small value of 0.0342342. I had to greatly increase the value and slightly change the add. parameters to achieve a noticeable result:

I replaced it with the plugin fract_dragon_wf:

The fourth plugin in the third triangle is cosh = 5.1122959. When reducing the value of the pattern from the outer circle is shifted to the center:

The increase in the figure is not noticeable. As a replacement for this plugin, I liked dc_bubble:

I downloaded the basic parameters and moved to the fourth triangle. It has two plugins. The first is gaussian_blur with a very small value. Apparently, the small weight of the triangle itself affected the fact that neither the increase in the value of the plug-in, nor its replacement with another one, did I get new patterns in the drawing.
The second plug-in in the fourth triangle is sin = 6.42638. Reducing and increasing the value of this plugin also did nothing. But I still found a replacement for him - spirograph:

In the fifth triangle plugin falloff2. It also turned out to be with too little weight to have a strong influence on the fractal. And even his replacement did not work. In the sixth triangle, the plugin julia3Dq = 5,6297037. With him, luck finally awaited me. Decreasing the value has greatly changed the picture:

And this is the result of the reduction and change ext. parameters:

To replace this plugin, I chose checkerboard_wf = 1:

And there was only the final triangle. Increasing and decreasing its value affects the size of the picture, similar to the effect of scale in the Camera tab:

Decrease the value of add. the parameter reduces the number of colored spheres inside the circle:

At this my experiments with this basic fractal are over. See you soon!
