Ésta ilustración la realicé en Febrero, pero por motivos fuera de mi control (La falta de energía electrica e internet) no había podido publicarla.
Cuando hice ésta ilustración, la hice pensando en todos los atropellos que estaba sufriendo la tribu Pemón, en ese momento. Para los que no saben, ellos estaban siendo masacrados y desplazados por fuerzas militares del gobierno, gobierno que por cierto, se jacta de proteger a los pueblos originarios y las minorías, cuando hacen todo lo contrario.
- ♥ I made this artwork back in February, but I wasn't able to post it due to the lack of internet and the energy shut downs that we have been facing lately.
When I was making this illustration, I was thinking about all the abuse that the Pemón tribe was suffering at that moment. For those of you who don't know, they were being massacred and displaced by military forces of the government, a government that by the way, brags about protecting native people and minorities, when all they do is the complete opposite.
