Hi everyone!!

It has been days since I last posted here. I have been very busy with stuff and I also had a vacation. Anyway, I really haven't been totally gone off the grid in my days of absence. I have also worked in my free time and this is one of them.

A copper company in Leyte is looking for a logo to commemorate their 35th Anniversary and it so happened that one of my closest friends works there. So, he asked me to make a logo for him so that we can pass an entry in the competition.

Our Entry

Background

Being a world renowned company for producing copper cathode that is of the highest standard quality, PASAR is now celebrating its thirty fifth year as one of the top metals industry of the whole of Southeast Asia. With this also comes the celebration of 35 years of fruitful teamwork both within and outside the company.

The logo shows the olden symbol for copper used by the ancient alchemists to represent the metal, copper. That part of the logo mainly highlights the product of our company which is 99.99% copper cathode. The circle bags a pattern similar to that of the wings to signify the flight of the company into greater heights and further success. The color scheme that was used in the logo was maroon which is an earth color. It was to give the layman an impression of how the company deals with deep earth elements. It was also a strategy to maintain the class and sophistication of the design. The overall impact of the logo tells the story of how every sector melded as one company to achieve what was 35 successful years of excellent hard work.
