Water Color Art #6 : DEATH BUTTERFLY

Good day steemians. I made again a watercolour art and it was name Death butterfly.

I just saw it, they we’re calling the butterfly of the death, or something if that kind of butterfly was there it means it have the spirit or ghost of the person, something like that. But for my opinion, as a Christian, I don’t believe that kind of belief but still I respect other opinions. Peace!

I made a simple and easy step by step for this. I hope you will like it!

Step 1:
Sketch the butterfly using a pencil, make sure when you are sketching make it lightly.

Step 2:
Make the wings of the butterfly, using a liner brush, just follow what you sketched.

Step 3:
Make the body of the butterfly, you can use a larger brush on it, make it a dark black.

For the parts of the body, you can use a liner brush, just make a lines for legs and the head.

Step 4:
Put some color on the wings, I choose a pale color because my concept is death. This could be better nicer if you have a light color maybe I’ll make another like this with a light color hahaha soon.

Use a large brush and make dots or a stippling methods for it. Make sure you will make the dots it’s closer to each other.

Step 5:
For making the veins of the butterfly, use a liner brush and make some lines inside of the wings. It’s up to you how many lines you with like, and style of strokes you would want.

Step 6
Make the flower where the butter stand, make a stroke soft rounded edge.

Step 7:

For the background use a larger brush, like in the wings make some dots.

And you are done!
