As I think I mentioned on the previous occasion, the old cartography was an art, not only in the snido of the trade, but also because it implied an aesthetic elaboration, which is evident in the samples of your photos. I like these human figures in various activities and their medieval atmosphere in the third photo. In the first one I was struck by that sort of list of icons or signs with their meaning: very modern.
