🎨 About dreams and some other things / solo exhibition for end of 2018 and new beginning
Dear friends,
first of all I wish you all the best in this already new 2019.
I been away for some time, but reason for that you will see if you read this post.
After almost 4 years I held solo exhibit, and thinking this time things will go slow and easy, well they went well but it's never easy when you doing solo.
Especially if you are doing most things by yourself. All fb, instagram and other marketing staff. Than that constant story of mine..'' I don't have enough paintings...I don't have enough..'' And than when you come to the gallery everything fits perfectly :)
It was Saturday evening, that was agreed with gallery owner for opening.
But there was small catch with time and place.
You see, for the past five Saturdays we are having very huge demonstrations against rule of our president.
And place where people meet to begin their protest walk is very close to the place where was opening :)
So it was sort of mission impossible for my friends to come since the time of the protest gathering was same as opening hour..
At the time we set up time for opening, no demonstrations were announced :)
But, despite all that things, I had an great evening.
Street was full with people peacefully demonstrating and we were joking that no one ever had such crowd at opening.
Back to the exhibit.
It is small gallery place but I felt in love with space first time I saw it. And it turned great.
As you can see at upper photography, which is my favorite, it was also very vivid with art talks.
Also, there was a beautiful surprise in form of basket filed with strawberries and bananas covered with dark chocolate send by friends.
They couldn't manage to come, but they send gift.
So guys, hope I made my excuse for being so long away from Steemit.

Hahaha, ma ja sam ti stara sreberka @lighteye, stalno frka i trka sa perfekcijom :) Zato me i nie bilo ovde jer sam jurcala po uramljivacima, katalog, pripreme istog..itd..plus dnevni kancelarijski posao..pala sam na nos ali zadovoljno pala :)
То звучи као да ћемо ускоро видети један селфи/аутопортрет на коме доминира црвена боја по средини, @jungwatercolor ;))
Идем ја сад да пробам да се дочепам нечег јестивог. Ако не будем пао на нос по овој поледици, чујемо се опет ;)))

Пази која је ово случајност, @jungwatercolor, сад тек видим датум на каталогу — те суботе, 22. децембра кад је било отварање твоје изложбе, @lighteye и @dragannenadic покушавали су да смире преостале живце заглављени у саобраћају блокираном због протеста… једва смо успели да се дочепамо Филхармоније:

Oh yes, if you have do manage everything yourself, it´s so time consuming and often exhausting.
Congratulations for hosting what I’d consider to be a successful solo exhibit! I wish I was there to view your work up close! It also sounds like you worked very hard to organize the whole thing and I can only image the stress you felt knowing that protests would be happening right outside. Great job! :)
O no, protests were cool totally..I am doing protests also :) I will try to film those that will happen next Saturday and share it here.
It's true, as much as I though preparations won't eat me, like I have experience, it's always the same rush, run and stress. At the end it all pays off, but it's hard while it lasts.
Well, hope one day I will make some solo where you will be able to see it alive @vermillionfox :)

bas sam pomislio kad si spomenula proteste kako si imala najvece otvaranje izlozbe koje je imao iko ikad :D
slike ovako u ambijentu izgledaju jos bolje.
Hvala @bil.prag. Ma bilo je skroz ludo, vise smo vremena proveli na ulici nego u galeriji. Jedino sto nisam stigla da setam taj dan, ali ostale jesam i cu :)
Da, kad okacis fotku samog rada ljudi najcesce nemaju predstavu o velicini a i nikad ne mozes boju da snimis egzaktno.

Čestitke @jungwatercolor od srca! Juče sam pročitala tekst, ali nisam stigla da ti odgovorim. I ja sam se vratila svojoj kancelariji, pa se borim s vremenom. Žao mi je što ne mogu da skoknem do Beograda da uživo uživam u tvojim radovima i prošetam malo, ali pošto ti ovo nije poslednja izložba svakako će biti prilike. Ti si iskusna demostrantkinja (da upotrebim novi pravopis) vidiš da te prate same :) Pozdrav!
