Just a little piece I made trying out my newfound joy of colours and also a funny example of the process.
I started mixing up two images with a burn filter... or was it hard light.. fire and a person. You can see an eye and some hair.
A bit cruel, I know. Here is a larger version.
Disturbingly darling I wonder what it'd be like having he/she over for tea?
Could be a bit messy with that mouth...

My cousin is a historian and specialises in WWI history. I have seen people in that book... Jesus wept.
I have a fairly rare edition of that book in Dutch, but I never open it anymore.
The older I get the less I need to be reminded about such things. You can't unsee such images so they are there anyway.

As you know part of my thoughts and part of my art are concerned with such things... So I am reminding myself every day :)
