My fathers oil painting of my childhood home

My father painted this when I was a kid, and gave it to me as a birthday present.

It is a depiction of my childhood home during winter times.
It being the arctic it is always dark, even during day in winter.

I find this painting very accurate, and it always reminds me of home.
Everyone should grow up like this. In small communities.
I actually find it strange that some people prefer big cities...or even small cities.
