I was playing around again with the scatter node, this time with a sphere. Pretty cool because you end up with something that looks like an explosion. If you have no idea what I'm talking about you can check out my previous post here.
But the basic idea is the scatter node lets you scatter a model across another model. So I scattered spheres on another sphere, then control their offset from that sphere with a black and white 2D texture. There's actually 2 million sphere's in this scene O_O
This is what it look like in the app. There's just a dot to represent each sphere so it doesn't bog the system down. Fun stuff.

It looks like an explosion of seed beads which are used in jewelry making. Nice!
