Wood Panels Procedural Material

Still practicing with Substance Designer. The way this goes I usually see something in real life and my brain automatically starts to virtually construct the material in Substance and imagine how I could create it. Then next time I'm sitting at my computer, I'll sort of have an itch in my brain until I try out what I'd imagined.

This material is primarily height information. The wood pattern is something that comes with Substance in this case. I've built my own wood procedurally before, but in this case the one they give you was a pretty good fit for the look I was going for.

In other news, @steem.ninja developed a really powerful feature for their app. You can now buy a Steem account with Paypal!

This is the sort of thing that needs to IMMEDIATELY be integrated into all the frontends especially Steemit since it's the most common first stop for newcomers.

It's the sort of low hanging fruit I REALLY wish Steemit would just jump on and implement in a timely manner. As you probably know if you follow me, my #1 concern right now about Steem is UX.

I think no matter how many technological innovations we come out with if we can solve the problem of making this all easy and cohesive, we're doomed. This is a HUGE step in that direction and I hope it gets integrated sooner vs later.
