Daf'z

Some time ago we made a series of cartoon pictures on the history of Dutch truck manufacturer Daf. This cute little book featured photo's of various models from the company's history (both trucks and cars) in a diiferent setting and in our own specific cartoon style.

The DAF B475 bus has a chassis which is fitted with a horizontal slider Waukeshaengine. The coachwas build by Dutch coach maker Verheul. This series of 80 pieces was for the Nationale Spoorwegen (Dutch Rail Services).

This amazing DAF Siluro is a design by the Italian Giovanni Michelotti and it is based on a standard DAF 55 Coupé. The Siluro (Italian for "torpedo") was one of the first wedged automobiles. This 2-seater came with a 4 cylinder Renault engine and ofcourse featuered the famous DAF variomatic transmission.
