Hand Fan Fashion in Nigeria

Hand held fans are definitely not new, they have been around like forever. From early men need of something to generate fire from weak spark up to the elegant art masterpiece in some royal courts, hand held fans have been used by humans for many purposes.

In today's fashion in Nigeria, hand fans have become special items desired by ladies because it complement party outfits in a very unique way. As an hand fan designer, I see hand fans as more of art crafts rather than just fashion items. Hand fans are simple yet artistic and awesome.

Nowadays, hand fans are made from fabrics like aso-oke and ankara by local designers. However, hand fans are also made of materials like feathers, paper and other synthetic materials. Hand fans come in different colour, texture and design patterns.
