Exhibit #6: HospitalSick Brain

This is a drawing I made a few years ago when I was in a very bad place. If you are going through some dark shit right now, you have to know that you gotta keep going through. Eventually you will see the light of day and when looking back at it, you will hopefully have something to draw from it all, to get a new dimension on life. Like Viktor Frankl understood, meaning can also be found in suffering, not only in achievement or beauty. Suffering and pain have the ability to make your life deeper and your purpose clearer. Well, in the long run anyway.

Taking medication whether it be prescribed by a doctor or self administered will only prolong your agony. In order to move on and get rid of whatever unwanted situation you are in at the moment, it s essential that you first take 100% responsibility for your life and what is happening to you and how you feel. It's not about what happens to you, it's all about how you respond. By suppressing something that is trying to come up with the use of drugs, medication, alcohol, TV series, or whatever it is that is your personal preference, you are only prolonging the natural process that your emotional body goes through when processing trauma and past pain. Instead of running away from it, dive right into it. Feel everything fully to release it and let it go. No matter how much it hurts or how bad it feels, you are making a good decision in the long run. It's a long-term investment in yourself. So fuck all your medication, dive right into your pain and let it burn off any unnecessary parts of you. It will be painful but I promise you it is worth it in the long term.

That's deep, bruh.

Don't know if I agree as some people find it hard to get by without pain meds when their pain is debilitating.

Think the key is moderation and combining with other medical techniques such as physical therapy, neurostimulation, and maybe proper diet / exercise.

I like your art though. Heavy mind sort of stuff.

Ye I feel u sometimes people need it to function but the point is that the body has a natural way of healing past trauma and releasing the charged emotions to let them go. So it often happens that instead of letting the process happen by itself people block it and prolong it. It's like u have a thorn in your foot and instead of letting it out you just push it down again and again suppressing it even further. Basically instead of suppressing shit It's more beneficial in the long run to let it go and release it out of yourself. Then eventually u remove the clutter and have peace inside.
