The effect of Color Palletes in Fractals.
In my last post, I showed how a fractal goes through several stages, from simple to more complex, until it reaches a point of maturity. Here is the last picture of that series, which I re-used for this post:

A great thing with fractals is how different they become by using various palettes. Of course, JWildFire provides a lot of tools to tweak colors in several ways, for example you can assign colors to each transformation of the fractals, and control how strong (quick) the transitions through the gradient are.

But, in this case, I only used a different palette, with no further tweaks. Each image was rendered again, instead of color editing in Photoshop-esque apps, in order to have appropriate coloring and diffusion for each pixel. So, here are the results, which one do you like more?

Thanks, I think my fav is the last one, it reminds me of Japanese art with pal colors. Perhaps those might be good "style" pictures for Deep Dream, I'll have to try it out.
