Ferns in the sunshine

It is that time of year when I'm gearing up to make a new series of cyanotype prints, in the meantime I've been recreating the look of a cyanotype in a digital drawing. I created my digital drawing 'Sun Print' on the social network DADA. This digital drawing was inspired by the plants growing in my garden, I loved the curved form of the fern leaves.

I created the digital drawing 'Sun Print' on the DADA platform using their drawing tools. The tools available include a paintbrush, eraser, and pencil, and the option to alter the opacity of the colour. You can see below the process of how I made this image.
