Hey! How about Steemit's community? I hope everyone is well. The last days I was working in a small box, a package for a product that we decide, for a class at my university, I hope you like my work very much and if so, do not forget to give your opinions about it in the comments.

Materials

Material
Use
Cardboard
I use it to create the template, nowadays it is the most common material for packaging.
cutter
To accurately cut the cardboard and give the material the desired shape.
Ruler
To accurately measure the cardboard and draw exact guides for the cut.
Liquid Silicon
I use it to stick the pieces I cut in a certain position.
Painting in the cold
With them I give color and detail to the package so that it is more showy.
Acetate sheet
with it I can create an opening to make the product visible.

Step by step:

# 1:

before cutting cardboard I create a sketch to understand the design of the packaging and not have mistakes when cutting.

# 2:

I trace the measurements and cut the cardboard to be a single piece of simple assembly.

# 3:

I cut the holes to make the product visible inside the package.

# 4:

I paint the package and I put the texts you must carry to indicate what type of product it contains (the barcode is fake XD)

# 5:

Finally, I put the acetate and assemble the packaging and stick it with liquid silicone so that it retains its shape.

This work is part of a project that I was asked for a subject of graphic design in the university. In this we had to create a package for a product of our choice (in my case it is a light bulb) and that package had to be identified with a specific typeface that each one had to design, and mine was this:

This project was designed so that we graphic design students were entering the world of packaging, because in this career designing packaging is one of the many possibilities you have to be a designer . I hope you liked the post, do not forget to comment and tell me what you think and thank you for all your support and thanks Steemit community, see you next time!
