The Bronze Sword 青銅劍 My entry for the 5th“Drawing Master” Contest /第5届齐白石杯/月旦评

This is a bronze sword. In ancient time, people relied on these heavy blades. Now they can only be seen in museums, or in art works.

However still, everyone needs a "sword" in this world, because there is this reality which hasn't changed in thousands of years (probably never it would): once you put down your sword, what comes next would not be peace, but insult, robbery and kill.
A "sword" is the ability to protect yourself. We all need it. It is ancient. It is current. It is forever.

這是一柄青銅劍。古時候，這種利刃與人們息息相關。如今，只有在博物館或文藝作品中見到它們。

但是依然，每個人都需要一柄“劍”，因為這世界的現實，千百年來不曾改變，或許永遠不會改變：當你放下手中的劍，迎來的不會是太平日子，而是欺辱，掠奪，被幹掉。

“劍”是保護自己的能力，人人必備，亙古不變。
