One of My Prints, Framed.

Framed Laura Print.jpg

This here, is the happy medium of price and style as my art goes. My client bought the poster print for $40, and then had Mikey frame it for only $140, so the whole thing is something like 21x26" or so around the outside of the frame for under $200.

Considering that my original 16x20"s start at $575, now, that's not a bad price.

I got some teacups from the antique shop to start another couple of cutesie teacup pieces in the near future. He seemed very excited about my work, so hopefully I'll hear from him again. That's one thing artists have learn to live with to some extent. Empty promise. It's a lesson in demeanor. If you can get past the flying elation of promise, past the disappointment of broken promise, past the anger of it happening again and again, you can address your market with a much more level head.

It's a valuable lesson for everyone, truth be told - don't have hope without action, don't have hope without a plan B, learn how to deal with disappointment in a healthy, functional way, and you'll be much happier in the long term.

You had a similar one that was in landscape or is it the same one? either way looks very nice

It's a series of mosaics. You've probably seen this one posted before, but there are many that look like it in style. :)

I really like the style once steem is worth a bit more Im going to get one of your works

Well, now I have even more reasons to hope Steem rises in the near future. You're awesome. :)

I am really glad to have crossed paths with such an awesome artist and person

You have a minor grammatical mistake in the following sentence:

It's a valuable lesson for everyone, truth be told - don't have hope without action, don't have hope without a plan B, learn how to deal with disappointment in a healthy, functional way, and you'll be much happier in the long term.
It should be in the long run instead of in the long term.

I loved your art and I am very happy that you can make money with your work outside of steemit, the art world is very competitive and sometimes people do not value your effort but little by little you climb until you reach that point. Life is a constant learning, things do not always work but what determines success is the determination to fulfill your dreams. Excellent post, greetings.

Thank you very much, @reialfr. :)

It certainly is not easy to make a living on art. It takes a lot of patience, and it does take constant learning. Definitely determination. :)

Loving your work. Great to know that you are even having your works sold!

Thank you thank you! It does feel good. Every little success is good. :D

@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
