I had a really good work session yesterday and got pretty far on this piece, that I'd only thought out in advance.
He needs to be surrounded by pies, though. I'm going to put a couple shelves on either side of him, and paint pies everywhere. Pies in the window sill, pies on the table, pies pies everywhere pies.
The entertainment going on around me always plays a bit part in how the work goes, I'm finding. Yesterday, for white noise, we put on Hot Shots Part Deux, and then Monty Python, the Meaning of Life. The searching for fish bit is still my favourite, after all these years. So good.
Meanwhile, Mikey built a frame for the piece I'm donating, so it is officially ready to go, I just need to send in some fresh paperwork and have them (Nightwood Theatre) pick it up.
I might be able to get this piece mostly done today, if I'm able to get enough work in. Let's find out!
