Nuts- A Painting

Dearest Steem Denizens,

I thought i would put up a painting i did from a couple months ago of a peanut... i dont think there is anymore to say on the subject of the peanut. i simply found it to be a very interesting nut. anyway, front to back here are some photos!

here is the final painting, i have layered many colors in thick paint with a palette knife. the painting rests on my make shift easel, two little L brackets screwed into the wall. below you can see the initial underpainting.

the top right one is the underpainting... the left one is another painting... and that thing at the bottom is a bunch of cards covered in gesso and blood, but that is a story for another time, and actually another painting i have been working on which i will post soon. and the L brackets which were fated to become the aforementioned easel. and my messy palette.
