Artbreeder // Creating Artificial Portraits
Dear friends,
as I told you in a recent post about artificial cover-art, I'm quite fascinated about playing with Artbreeder, an interface for exploring Generative Adversarial Networks.
As Artbreeder just recently opened public-beta access, it's now possible to breed images from four different image databases "General", "Portraits", "Albums" and "Landscapes". While playing around with the "Portaits" database, I created the following animation.
Artbreeder just went from closed to public beta, so if you're interested in this kind of AI-Art, you can start playing around with it right away.

Yes I am really liking Artbreeder too. Definitely a game-changer for so many reasons.
Agreed, it's greatest achievement is, that it's making #gan's accessible for the not so techy artists and generally curious people.
