I haven't drawn anything (or made a steemit post) in what feels like ages. I'm not sure why. I just had too much stuff on the go and I would be too tired to get any motivation when I finally get a chance to sit down for myself. Things are getting back to normal I guess so I felt like picking up the iPad.

Well, it's been a few weeks since cannabis became legal in Canada. It's still seems so strange to me. Nothing has really changed, though. Even a search on Google doesn't really bring up much. Just a bunch of issues with the US border, some supply issues, a mislabeling of a genital spray for an oral spray, and some opinion pieces on either side that don't really say much - probably much like mine.

Where are all the people getting schizophrenia and going around doing crazy things?

You'd think that there would be more news about the negative things that have been happening since legalization. I've heard of some tickets being given out for stupid shit like having cannabis in a vehicle. But, that just sounds like a confused cop trying to flex their muscles to make an example, I think.

Nobody's driving around getting into accidents because they're high. Nobody's breaking into houses stealing anybody's weed because they need their fix. Nobody's really doing anything.

So, what was the danger of cannabis again?

Oh, it was nothing the whole time?

Fucking right it was nothing the whole time.

It really makes me think, and I hope other people are starting to think about this too. Well, actually I already thought this. But, I hope others who didn't think of it will start:

If there wasn't a danger to cannabis and the system was wrong, and even after legalization won't really allow the solution to be free, then what else is it wrong about?

Not even that they were wrong, but more that they are lying still; to the public and to themselves. I'm starting to see it more and more. People are losing trust in this system, but it's so big and out of control, it would be hard to imagine life without it, for most.

That damn Stockholm syndrome will get you every time.

Even the fact of some of the provinces starting their own monopoly for the sale of cannabis makes everything outrageously obvious that they have no clue what they are doing. Some of these places were warned that they wouldn't be able to keep up with demand. Yet, they went that route anyway simply saying, "Don't worry, we have this under control." Only two weeks later and we've got the Quebec government talking about closing the stores down to save some money because they ran out of supply. Haha haha! They only made it two weeks.

You can't grow pot in Quebec like you can in other provinces. What is the reason behind that. The only thing I've heard is that you might end up with more than you're allowed to posses if you grow your own, so therefor nobody can grow their own.

The fact that there are restrictions on the amount you can own is laughable on its own, but to say you can't grow your own 4 plants because you might be a good gardener and get a good yield is just hilarious.

It's pretty obvious that they are wrong about that as well.

So what else could they really be wrong about?

The safest speed you can go being 110 km/h? Probably wrong. You can't sue vaccine companies because it's not their fault if someone gets injured? Most likely false. GMO food is perfectly safe? Hrmmm. They've got the economy under control? They should be the only ones controlling the money supply? Anyone on steemit should know the answer to that.

The list probably goes on and on and on with no real end of things that they have no idea about but have absolute control over. It just boggles my mind that it's gone on this way for so long.

I'll end the rant here for those still reading.

I didn't mean to write this, I actually was just making a post about the little pot smoking doodle I did, but it sort of rambled on the topic for a few hundred words.
