我的原著手绘：古罗马广场，罗马

古广场曾是帝国的中心，从Capitoline Hill延伸到东部的斗兽场。它原本是罗马山丘之间的沼泽地。公元前7世纪，他们建造了一个大型的排水管道系统并排干了土地。并开始在那里建造房屋和住宅。

这是Saturn庙和Castor & Pollux庙的景观手绘。

这两座寺庙都建于公元前5世纪，在罗马共和国时期。这是该地区最古老的寺庙之一。

当我走在这古老的街道上时，它让我想象着罗马时代的辉煌，我可以想象不是游客在街上拥挤，而人们都是古代生活在这里的罗马公民，那该是怎么样？它可能比今天还繁忙，许多活动正在进行中，在寺庙和市集里。所有的建筑物都将呈现最佳状态，而不是那些只是提醒过去的褪色的颓垣败瓦。

My Original Sketch: Ancient Roman Forum, Rome

The ancient Forum was where the heart of the Empire was, stretching from the Capitoline Hill to the Colosseum in the east. It was originally a piece of marshland in between the hills of Rome. They built a large sewage pipe system and drained the land in 7th century BC. And started building houses and dwellings there

This is a view of the Temple of Saturn and the Temple of Castor and Pollux.

Both temples were built in 5th century BC, during the Roman Republic period. These were among the oldest temple in this area.

When I was walking down the streets, it caused me to imagine of the glory of the Roman times, I could just imagine instead of all the tourists crowding in the street, what if they were all citizens of the ancient time? It would be just as busy as today, with lots of activities going on, in the temples and the markets. And all the buildings would be in their best shape instead of the bit and pieces that are just a reminder of the faded past.
