'The Clash'

A strong clash between the linear black part and the white area with several holes creates a very powerful dynamics. This could easily be described as a frightening photo on a subconscious level, even though the objects themselves are quite benign. When we add the green background into the mix and especially the purple-red corners, the illusion that we are observing something disturbing is complete.

I added the corners to nicely level the green with complimentary counterpart and achieve colour balance. The amounts seem appropriate. Couldn't help it to use a little bit in the white and some in the black areas.

Notice how the scary black branches disappear under the white 'figure' as if been eaten by it. But then again, the white area itself has its weak side, too. Observe the number of holes that penetrate it and weaken its impact. Knowing it is snow and is bound to melt sooner or later, the message of harsh darkness prevailing is imminent. However, there is always a chance for another bright, white creature to come and continue the fight. The eternal clash of extremes creates anything but boredom.

Then again, why does it have to be melting snow? :D

Enjoy! :)

Yeah haha me as well, I love the composition of @velimir art. It gives a powerful impact of meaning/definition in what he have done. Great job @velimir. Im doing also some digital art, but I need more practice 😅

You described everything so well. Thanks for the work!

Great title. Indeed, in the photo we see a clash of two different states of the same substance - water. Despite the fact that this is the same substance, we see a significant difference. Black and white. On the dark side, we see the reflection of the tree - this adds anxiety. But it disappears in the snow. This can be interesting in different ways. I would say so ...
It is like two sides of a person. The first is the dark side. In the dark side (anger, hatred), the surrounding reality is reflected. It is "liquid" water and therefore it is in motion. This is a person who reflects a harsh reality and is dissatisfied with something. But the other side is white snow. It is not cold (cold-blooded) and it does not reflect everything that happens around. He remains himself. He understands that nothing can be changed by negative emotions and therefore he absorbs them.
All this as two sides of the same coin. The eternal struggle of good and evil (two different states). In this context, it is clear that the snow will melt. But also there is no certainty that there will be no frost. Maybe a little more snow :?)
Good photo, I liked it
Thank you

The clash between the black and white is eternal.

The white thinks that it is better. It is used for good things, for friendships...

On the other side, Black knows that the world is full of problems and bad evils. Black knows that he has many friends in this dark world.. Black thinks it is best..

In the End, black wins.. and that is the bitter truth...

Agreed to your point that white vanishes, no matter how big and strong it is..
!!!!

your art always good.this art to see horor types.but its makes alots of snow.its really inteligent knowledge of you. this is a display of perfect art and beauty, i love your good photography.excellent creativity and good artist.thank u very much for your good post of art.. @velimir

ahahah, yeah it is scary, when I opened your post, the image didn't open completely, I got scared when I see the holes :p But after 3 to 4 seconds, I'm able to see the whole image :p
yes you are right, There is a brightness after every darkness :)
it just takes some time to come out, The only thing we can is to wait :)

In order for a work and product interesting to see, the composition of the color must also be formulated.

Simply put, the composition of color can be divided into 2 types: First symmetrical color composition, the pattern between colors in one field or space, sebangun and balanced.

Can be balanced between left and right, top with bottom, or all sides. The second type, asymmetric color composition, is the opposite of symmetry. Patterns between fields of color, directly unequal and unbalanced, but when examined, remain balanced. It may be said, this balance of color is abtsrak, a composition that requires high intelligence and artistic sensitivity to understand and feel it.

Thanks for sharing, good work. Your post is very amazing...

Nice work with reflection and true source. photography. Is this a car window?

You had great experince in that.nice

like in a horror movie, is very scary but when viewed from the point of art this is a very good work. I love snow even though my country Indonesia no snow.

Is that a snow in there? I'm not sure but the photo looks so mysterious to me ^^
