'Red'
Its been a while since I've published a photograph based on a minimalist approach. The dramatic moment is definitely coming from the water spill that looks like blood. The yellow leaf, the accent within predominantly red areas, is the main element that reduces the tension from the rest of the image.
The top left is where it is where the contrast is strongest between the skylight reflected in the water and the dark red area. Notice the difference from the rest of the image where it is way more soft and tame. One cannot miss the dark cracks disturbing the softness of various shades of red and thus increasing the drama.
The pointed leaf could be a symbol of a sharp blade, too. That could tell the full story.

I like when you tell a story from so few elements, @velimir! Sometimes I forget that you are a film director and therefore you have that quality of perceiving a lot in the least, for example as now: How of apparently inconsequential elements, such as the dagger-shaped leaf and the absolute economy of objects and colors, in this case predominates red, you can point to an interesting story. In a society where the superabundance of things predominates, images of this type are appreciated. Nice Sunday!;)
I like the how minimalist this picture is. But it gives me the creeps the more I look into it. Maybe because red is always associated with blood and the picture looks like blood was spilled on the floor or it's from a crime scene or something.
