'Busy Bee'
It is already mid-autumn but bees are still busy. I did not expect to find one but... There it was, busy as a bee. :) The strong sun and plenty of flowers keep them busy collecting honey for the winter.
I crossed the colours, trying to come closer to the seventies old film look. Back then, it was more about the film as a medium than artistic intention. The process wasn't perfect and colours often crossed when reproduced. Today, we can only intentionally achieve the same look. Interesting, eh? What used to be considered as a flaw, defined a whole era of cinematic art and still looks 'cool' today if used in the right context.
The difference in tonality between the background and the foreground is strong. The background is way darker but still very readable, while the foreground brings forth strong colours and light tones evoking happy feelings.

We need to learn from these bees who are working hard to save the future.when these bees have so much understanding that in order to deal with the situation in crisis, we should prepare in advance, why then human being become so lazy. Beautiful blooming flower of mid autumn.
In my opinion, the colors are perfect, @velimir. I love. And very well for the hazelnuts, you can still collect your thousand and keep working and then be calm. Excellent photography, very good work that you did. :-)
I like the work you did with the colors of this image, I almost saw the hippie walk among the flowers, feel the breeze, the sun and the smells. In my country these flowers are called Coquettes and there are many colors. Also, since we don't have seasons, we can see bees and butterflies all year round. How hardworking bees are!
