Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #98 'Footprints'
The name of this art photograph is: 'Footprints'
Footprints. Someone's mark for the eternity. It may be a good thing but this image isn't too uplifting. Nostalgia is present together with uncertainty while the broken concrete block tells a sad story of passing time. Bluish overall tone underlines the photograph with a feeling of ambiguity and without a doubt implies a downward moment.
The light is hard but somehow it doesn't feel very intense at the same time. It creates three distinguished shadows that fall over the footprints as if diminishing their importance and negating their value. Following the long shadows which add a gloomy feel to the overall atmosphere, we can easily define the vanishing point somewhere above the image. The shadows, together with cracks create a rhythmic structure and add dynamics against the light spots.
If you haven't looked at the photography carefully, you probably didn't notice that there are three footprints in there. Two of them belong to a dog - human's best friend, as they say.
