in #art5 years ago

A creation Gianfranco Iannuzzi - Renato Gatto - Massimiliano Siccardi - with the musical collaboration of Luca Longobardi
The new digital exhibition of the Atelier des Lumières offers an immersion in the paintings of Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890), a genius ignored during his life, which upset the painting. By marrying the whole space of the workshop, this new visual and sound creation goes through the intense life of the tormented artist who painted over the last 10 years of his life more than 2000 paintings, now scattered all over the world. .

The exhibition explores the vast production of Van Gogh, which has changed radically over the years, from Potato Eaters (1885), Sunflowers (1888) to Starry Night (1889) and The Bedroom. (1889). The Atelier des Lumières reveals the powerful and expressive brushstrokes of the Dutch painter and is illuminated by the bold colors of his unparalleled canvases. The dark tones follow the warm tones. The immersive exhibition evokes the excessive, chaotic and poetic inner world of Van Gogh and emphasizes a permanent dialogue between shadow and light.

The thematic itinerary covers the different stages of the artist's life, his stays in Arles, Paris or Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The visitor travels to the heart of the works, from his beginnings and his maturity, his sunny landscapes and his nocturnes, to his portraits and still lifes.

In addition, a new device is proposed inside the tank located in the center of the Atelier: the famous Van Gogh canvases are represented in their entirety in the presence of comments on the work and the museum where it is presented.

This visual and musical creation produced by Culturespaces and made by Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto and Massimiliano Siccardi, highlights this chromatic richness, as well as the power of drawing and the strength of the artist's filling.
