RE: Hire a Blogger For Your Crypto/Blockchain Blog

in #articlemarketing6 years ago (edited)

@blockurator,

Block, I think this is a great idea. One of the things I have observed in cryptoland is an industrial-scale level of "sterile writing." Perhaps not surprisingly, "code-writers" are not "good writers." The "good at math, bad at language" stereotype, perhaps?

There seems to be an industry-wide inability to connect on a human level, to create personality, to establish "voice." For all the tattoos and ponytails, they're actually a very blaise crowd. Boring parties, I'd bet.

The internet is an ocean of ordinary content written by ordinary people. Only the extra-ordinary (beyond ordinary) stands any chance of getting noticed and making an impression.

Perhaps most distressingly, the "young ones" don't seem to grasp their deficiency. Many think they're actually very good writers ... and that there's something wrong with their audience. That, in typical Millennial fashion, people need to "accept them for who they are" ... including their judicious use of misspelled words and grammatical and syntactical mistakes. "Just keeping it real, bro." Many actually seem to think that sloppy language makes them sound "authentic." I think it makes them sound "illiterate."

Thanks, Quill. I knew I could count on your support. :-)

@quillfire SO true that "code-writers" are not "good writers." I agree with this 1000 percent.

You're so dead on.
