Hello to all! 🌹🤗

Today is a great day! MARCH 8! In most countries, this holiday is called "Women's Day". 👸

According to the official version of the holiday is associated with the "march of empty pots", which was held March 8, 1857 in New York. Then the women who worked in the textile beauty, protested against poor working conditions and low wages. During the march, they beat these same pots, demanding that they be given a 10-hour working day instead of a 16-hour wage equal to men and the right to vote. 🤔🌹👸

The same version speaks about the famous German Communist Clara Zetkin. She is often called the woman who founded the holiday on March 8. In 1910, at the Women's Forum in Copenhagen, Zetkin encouraged the world to establish International Women's Day on March 8. She had in mind that on this day women will hold rallies and demonstrations, and thus draw the attention of the public to their problems.🤔🌹👸

Although many versions! But the most important thing !!! This is to give flowers to women and girls on this day. 🌼🌷🌹🥀🌻

My disciples and I made tulips from caprone. But the colors are not enough. We decided to make corrugated paper roses. They look very original and creative. What do you think ??? 😊🤔

Do you know what is most important? Of easy to do and take a little time.

So! Let's go to the process! 😎🌹

1.Make templates. (for small and large petals) Cut the petals. Unlimited number. Although we took 6 small and 7 large.

2.Formulate the petals. To do this, do not be afraid to press on the paper. Corrugated paper changes shape well. The main thing! Do not stretch it much.
And it is better to take the one that is the most goffered and embossed. It is best manipulated.

3.Then we take the first main petal, slightly pull out the middle piece and wrap the candy, as shown in the photo, fix it with threads.
Instead of candy, we can take different balls or make a ball of hot glue (we did so). But you need to be careful with glue! He is very hot. Before you form a ball, you need to wet your fingers in cold water.

4.Substitute the first petal and glue it. You can use hot glue.
The next petal is fixed with overlap. Thus attach the remaining petals.

5.We glue the stem and leaves!

Rose is ready!

Now we can add decor.

You can add a beautiful ribbon. Or using hot glue to make dew on the petals. (like on a pigeon rose)

But with dew you need to be careful !!!

By the way! There are different variants of petals. You can make a shape with the help of toothpicks.

Although I prefer to create a form with the help of fingers. Petals are more gentle and neat. But if you are interested. 🤗Here is:

Home made, crafted flowers are way better to receive then store bought ones.

Happy women's day! Those flowers are super beautiful, they look like real flowers in a way... It's actually hard to believe kids make those, but I guess it does say much on how much of a good teacher you are to them....

I hope i can make one though....😊
