Only seen this now. Sort of funny - or maybe not funny, but sad. Just as there are wanna-be (pretender) artists, there are wanna-be (pretender) curators. And there are plenty of those to be found on Steemit.
I remember what Mat Gleason once said about curators in a Facebook comment (I paraphrase): "Anybody can be a curator. If you pin something on your grandmothers fridge, you are a curator."
..... and I am waiting for the "artspeak" to be dripping out of the faucets (maybe a theme for a painting?)

If truth always prevails, then it seems inevitable that a time will come when artspeak is seen as vacuous and pretentious. The practicing cognoscenti will only have themselves to blame when the tide eventually turns and history casts a less than flattering light on their obfuscations.
