A team of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested him on Tuesday night. CID Special Police Super (SS) Molla Nazrul Islam confirmed the information.
Molla Nazrul Islam said that he was arrested in a case filed by musician and singer Shafique Tuhin in Tejgaon Police Station. Case number 14 Asif Akbar will be handed over to the court. In the case filed on Monday evening (June 4th), there are also 4/5 unidentified accused in addition to Asif Akbar, police said.
According to Shafiq Tuhin, on June 1, at around 9pm, on the basis of the search report of the search light of Channel 24, he came to know that without the permission of Asif Akbar, he has sold 617 songs of his songs including other music composers, musicians and artists without knowing him. Later, he contacted through different ways, Asif Akbar became the Chairman of Entertainment Entertainment on Mobile Pv. Lee. Content Provider, Nexnet Lee Gaak Media Bangladesh Ltd. Through the digital transformation of the songs, through the use of tru-tune, WAP-2, ringtones, PRBT, FULTRACT, WALL PAPER, ANIMATION, THREE-G content etc., they used to make huge money through unfair use and fraud.
In view of the incident, he posted a post mentioning this incident of selling songs without authorization from his personal Facebook account on June 2 at 2pm. Under his post, Asif Akbar has given 'indecent remarks' and threats from his account. The next day on the Facebook page came to live. 54 minutes 34 seconds live video 22 minutes of abusive, indecent and falsifiable speech against him. In the video, Asif Akbar (Shafiq Tuhin) will say that he will do Shastasta as well as to the devotees, he will resist wherever he finds him.
