The vicious circle of being a smal fish in the pond
In the following I´m going to decribe the problem of having few steempower and show the solution I see.
Referring to this Upvotecalculator https://www.steemnow.com/upvotecalc.html you need at least 37 Steempower and 100% votingpower to generate 0.01 Steemdolar reward for a post.
As a little fish new on steemit you start with 0.1 steempower and 14.9 Steempower deligatet for about a month.
As a new person on steemit you will need at least a 0.04 value to generate 0.01 Steempower and 0.02 Steemdolar.
in average i would say that i mostly produce comments or posts with a value from 0.00 to 0.05 (0.05 is uncommen). That meens in most cases i make 0.00 to 0.01 Steempower a day. In about two weeks my deligatet steempower will be removed - currently I have 0.152 Steempower + 14,910 deligated Steempower.
An anoying fact: some days ago about 5 of my post lost 0.02 units of value and i dont have i idea why (the ammount of the likes was still the same)

Why shall i gain 37 Steempower
Pretty easy, if one vote from you equals 0.01 Steemdollar people your vote start to matter. I had some post with 5 like not producing 0.00 Steemdollar outcome because the low level votes simply had no effect. After passing the 37 border you enter the midlevel of Steemians and your account will grow faster.
Possibil solutions
- Wait a long time and proceed like i do the time befor
- Buy Steem power with real mony - A opertunity that i don´want to choose
- Being super lucky and get an upvote from a whale or get deligated Steempower
- Pay bots for upvotes - This will destabelise Steem
