AskSteem: What do you spend your daily Steem activity on nowadays?

in #asksteem5 years ago

I got way too many things going on right now and I'm starting to realize that I'm not doing the best work due to it so will try and organize my activity a bit better and focus on the things I think will matter the most for the platform and currency.

What do you spend your activity on? Also what do you find yourself spending Steem on within our platform? (bid bots don't count)

Sort:

1. Steemmonsters!

Yes, most of the time nowadays I play steemmonsters on steem. The way the game is evolving on every aspect, I am just asntonished ! Thanks to the devs and the management, the game is getting cooler and cooler every day. Also waiting for a whole bunch of new cards I will be getting from the tron AKA Seedgerminator crowdfunding project.

2. Posting blogs:

I used to post photography blogs in my earlier days but now I got busy with my studies, so I only post 2 gaming blogs. 1st one is about steemmonsters card giveaway + quest and 2nd one is about drugwars. (Yes, I play drugwars too and will join nextcolony soon!)

Gaming is my hobby since childhood and these games are becoming the bridge between me and steem. No doubt, games will change the future of steem! Who is agree with me? 😅

Besides games and posting blogs, I do comments on posts, but sadly not like before. I keen interest in technology and that's why I read and comment on interesting steemhunt posts.

Lastly, I do spend a lot of time in discord. If you take steemit as facebook, discord is the like the massanger and both is incomplete without each other and I think most of you use discord as well.

So, these are my nowadays activities on steem. Hope you did not get board! 😅

Mostly Drugwars and nextcolony. The former now with less frequency and the latter more and more.

Ever since the rewards are in future tokens I have been spending less time on it. That being said I really liked the recent updates.

On nextcolony I'm trying to get the explorer. So far I'm really happy with the game.

Outside the games writing the text for the Steem FPL and occasionally looking at posts from the people I follow.

I am also excited for the new game nextcolony, but not getting enough time to explore it.

More and more games are coming on steem and I think that's a good sign.

Directly on Steem

  1. Posting game reviews on my main account.
  2. Maintaining my index page
  3. Pressing update on older posts to make slight changes/have a better flow to what posts they link out to.
  4. Commenting /voting (I’ve cut back a lot)
  5. Playing games: Nextcolony, SM (also cut back a lot.)
  6. Trying different dapps (one in a while)
  7. Random update on my developer account about progress or lack there of.

Off Steem But Related

  1. Playing games and creating reviews to post.
  2. SEO: to many things to name.
  3. Discords: mostly networking, answering dms, talking with people about Steem games. Very small amount of sharing my posts.
  4. Twitter: networking, commenting on game developers posts/DMs, engaging with comments, finding content to engage with/resteem.
  5. Steam: curation page for the games I review.
  6. Email: gaming companies, websites, and other places regarding my content or interest of their product.
  7. Game development: Working on future plans to release a game on Steem. Learning coding, working with small group of people and all that fun dev stuff. I’m quite a noob will be years for anything almost decent but not really.
  8. Heaven forbid if I don’t forget post out to my content on Reddit/Facebook /where ever else I recall.

Spending Related To Steem

  1. Steem spending: blockchain games (once in a while)
  2. Steem future spending: wages, servers, commissions of work, services. (Maybe)
  3. Fait current spending: games, hardware upgrades, software, server rent, other.

Time wise: commenting, curating, helping people to understand steemit thingies, specially new people, writing up highlights posts, managing contests, and creating contents (in that order)

Steem wise: I've mostly powered up my earnings. The only time I did send out steems are to help some of my venezuelan friends, provide prize pools for contests, support a fundition project that is trying to make an original indie game on steemit, and sending curation mentorship earnings to an apprentice curie curator.

Witing, reading, engagement/curation (hard to separate), casino, misc-dapp, games (next colony, drug wars), onboarding, off platform marketing.

My list somewhat in order way too much time 3 hours total. Ive got Steem ocd, but ur discord group didn't help me for that.

  • Making sure I'm sticking to a daily post routine keeping up the quality also. Since most posts have a function for myself (aside from post earnings) and I'm still cross-posting on Scorum it's worth the time I put into it.
  • Running my @upvoteshares project. (take about a day of my time every month and can mostly run on it's own)
  • Upgrading my Nextcolony skills and Buildings (does not require much time but takes forever)
  • Playing Moonsteem and increasing my investment there. The only gambling app I can get behind on the platform (I haven't really tried the others honestly, but don't have any reason to believe they will be for me)
  • Checking in on what some friends are up to in their posts
  • Trying to keep up what's moving on Steem and Steemit
  • Making occasional comments on posts from my feed (when I have some spare time)

That's about it

drugwars...some magicdice too

Reading a few posts and curate also...ordinary stuff.

wow so many still playing drugwars, I'm surprised, haven't touched it in months now.

Despite the fact that many were disappointed with the return and the implementation of future token, I kinda like it. Tbh I enjoy it a lot. Seeing the pure gaming side of things...also the fact that i didn't spend much on the game helps with this perspective

I gave up as it is barely a game.

Magic Dice has rewarded your post with a 4% upvote. Thanks for playing Magic Dice.

    7 working on youtube

My main focus is SEVEN77 Twitter Movement to bring venture capitalists to our Blockchain So I spend most of the time on Twitter to empowering SEVEN77 participants and non participating STEEM citizens while constantly iterating SEVEN77 making easier to participate for everyone with Only 7 Seconds

Huge advantage is for me is that I don’t have Discord channel and time I spend Discord like less than one hour a week

I might figure out how to use Twitter as Discord soon

PS. Someone has shared this on Twitter and otherwise I would have missed this content

Let’s FOCUS on Building our Blockchain

I dont know. I browse and comment a bit when i find time. I mostly post. :)

I walk around being grumpy and telling everyone how they are wrong about something. Whatever it might be that day. 😂

I do my daily clickfest on nextcolony, drugwars. (Yes i still spend few mins a day there.)
Do my steemmonsters dailys.

Listen to some music, look at some art.
Thats about it
