Ask Steemit: What is the most awkward thing you or your children have said?

Anyone who has met my son knows that he is extremely outgoing and talkative. Sometimes this leads to some awkward moments.

Tonight, as we were going down the lifts in grandma's apartment, a group of students got into the lift with us. It was obvious that they had just smoked and smelt of cigarettes. Suddenly, my son exclaimed

"Who has been smoking? It smells bad!"

This was followed by a few seconds of awkward silence. Then everyone started giggling and the person who just smoked turned bright red. We couldn't get out of the lifts fast enough. :)
