I love your reasoning @brianphobos and have to say that I'm slightly jealous you have a location such as Arizona on your doorstep to check out the craters (Scotland don't really get anything in the way of asteroids).

Did you see the video of the small asteroid hitting down in Ottosdal a few days ago? Only small but still amazing to see.
