It's Astro-Logical -- practical advice for conscious living ---> Issue #47
departing sextile with Saturn in Capricorn.
This aspect formed at 18°.
It is valid for a couple of weeks.
The theme of this pattern
challenging or arduous work either started or out of the way.
The Sun = you, your ambitions, your self-image, your ego
Saturn = your ability to organize, take on responsibilities, buckle down and work hard to achieve something worth having
Departing sextiles = visionary ideas, information from intuition, you may think in pictures and feelings more than words ... for a while
My first husband used to say there are three choices to make in structuring any project. You can have it fast, good or cheap. Pick two. For any aspect that involves Saturn, you want to pick "good" and "cheap." Saturn doesn't like to rush. He's not impressed with speed. He's seen that cause too many careless mistakes. So don't even talk to him about cutting corners -- or going home early!!
Whatever your working on, whatever you're building now -- do it right. (Make it good.) And be frugal with your resources. Be cost conscious -- be aware of your budget. Insist on value-for-value exchanges. Get the most bang for your buck. (In other words, get it done cheap -- or at least get as much of a bargain as possible.)
In Saturn's eyes, you'll never go wrong if you wind up with money left over. The other alternative, however, just sucks. So play it safe. Use your common sense on whatever you're doing ... take one step at a time and make every step count. Don't watch the clock. Your goal now is excellence. Details count.
This energy brings forward your patience and determination, your ability to stick with a project even when it is challenging. In fact, there is a strong respect here for the inherent value of work and achievement. To set a goal and make it happen is very empowering -- and you're ready to prove that to yourself. You have a strong sense of duty, professional manners, an all-business attitude. This makes a terrific impression -- even on you!
This combination only comes around twice a year, so you don't want to miss one. This time can be very productive. Make the next couple of weeks count! The next one arrives in Scorpio.
(So, in October / November you may see ways to improve on your original design ... or tear it apart and redo it completely -- and turn it into something spectacular. But to do that you need something original to work with. Producing that is your task now. You'll have help from other sources in Scorpio. Create a contribution that will just knock their socks off!! Consider the kind of help that will attract.)
Focused ambition / powerful resolve to make something important succeed
More public exposure / more responsibility ---> possibly more authority or leadership duties
A pragmatic, conservative attitude
Involvement in something you really want to get right!! (You don't have time for mistakes, side-trips, distractions or messing around. You don't have the patience for this either!!)
Being disciplined and organized -- time and money are both concerns
A time of greater self-reliance and possibly a really nice achievement to show for it.
Oh dear. That sounds like a lot of work. darn Saturn. I’ve been avoiding serious projects for a while now... does that mean I have to face them? 😉
Actually, you'll want to get involved in something meaningful and worthwhile before long. In fact, you'll be excited about getting started.
True story. I’ve been quite motivated on a couple of fronts, and making great progress. Yay! 😁

Such an interesting read, and it seems to be pushing mt to take action on some things I have been letting sit in the background for a while
It's always easier to make progress when "the flow" of energy is with you. I think a lot of us have been letting things simmer for a while. I hope I can find all my notes!!
yes that is very true, and good luck with finding your notes
@walkerland... I think we were just playing with Saturn energy in our chat in Discord.
I love your posts @enchantedspirit! Xx
