Dark ambient isn't always about evoking the depths of space or the end of the word. Sometimes it's about what goes on right outside your door.
This song comprises just four main elements: three synths, each playing a different note to form a simple minor cord that shifts halfway through, plus some background noise. There is, of course, a TON of automation and FX, but if you strip all that out it's just two chords and some noise.
