Safe travel is simpler than you think.
The color red is the most visible color to paint a car. It offers the highest contrast in all operating conditions. There are no red roads, so this is a decided advantage. Why aren't all cars red? That is an very broad question.
BUT, If all cars WERE red, then we would become a Red car-nation, right...or blooming idiots, ROFLOL!
But it would be safer on the roads. The least safe cars are grey (too close to road color), Black (not visible at night), and White (disappears in Fog).
So, when you go look for that new car, think about how the paint will detract, or enhance the actual safety of the vehicle. You may actually change your mind....
Stay Safe!
That's a good point!
People seldom think about the vehicle color adding a level of safety for the family. But it is a factor for certain.
I was surrounded by grey and silver cars that kind of merge into the pavement. I sat there, and realized I was, at that point, at gerater risk,; because they were hiding My red paint....
>:(
Ha ha ha. So the real lesson is that people should stay home because it's just not safe out there. :D
Sadly there is some truth to that, ROFLOL!
There is a shopping center in Tulsa called Woodland Hills, Two of the ten most dangerous intersections in the USA feed this mall. That, combined with the fact that the costs of what they sell are some of the most expensive in Tulsa; makes it Easy for me to avoid that area of town.
Saves me money, and when they have a ten car pile up, it is NOT me, LOL!
:)
Good point, however, eye catching to cops as you drive by too. Red cars gets more tickets. Not that I speed or anything.
Well that is likely true too, ROFLOL, can't have everything!
But it is safer, and easy to see, so if you just ram the police car, you should be fine....
♡♡♡♡♡
Never thought about car color in regards to safety, but it makes so much sense, thanks!

The more visible, the safer. I hope this helps; wreaks are no fun, and safer is better!
