| Alcuni recenti incidenti aerei lasciano molto da pensare specialmente a chi dovrebbe occuparsi seriamente di sicurezza volo. Intendo la vera sicurezza volo, non quella attualmente in voga dei sedicenti esperti di fattori umani o degli autoproclamati specialisti di TEM. Sono ormai di dominio comune alcuni incidenti provocati dai sistemi di sicurezza installati su moderni aviogetti di linea. Se è vero che detti sistemi sono indispensabili - e lo saranno ancora di più nel prossimo futuro, quando i piloti non saranno più a bordo ma almeno uno di loro sarà a terra - è anche da notare come l'addestramento al volo in condizioni non standard sia altrettanto indispensabile. Sappiamo tutti come i nuovi syllabi siano molto meno esigenti in termini di manovre ai limiti dell'inviluppo di volo rispetto al recente passato. Quello che però è ancora d capire è quello che viene riportato dalle commissioni di inchiesta. In un recente rapporto si apprende di un pilota ventinovenne con oltre 8000 ore di volo. Se ciò è vero avrebbe volato per molto tempo (anni) quasi 1000 ore annuali il che lascia ogni commento superfluo. Qui il link al sito della CNN contenente il rapporto. Apprendiamo invece in data odierna che qualcuno ritiene le perdite di un recente incidente nell'ex Unione Sovietica come causate indubbiamente da alcuni passeggeri, tra cui uno molto grosso, che bloccavano il corridoio verso le uscite e promuove addirittura cappelliere controllate elettronicamente dagli assistenti di volo. Forse si dimentica che lì dentro si trovano anche estintori e dotazioni di sicurezza in genere. In attesa che la commissione russa faccia chiarezza propenderei per evitare di stipare le persone sugli aerei in maniera ancora più spartana che sugli autobus lasciando ai tecnici russi (che sono bravissimi anche dopo la trasformazione del KGB) l'analisi dell'accaduto | Some recent air accidents are at least a great source for thoughts among the vaste community of those involved in flight safety. It is now widely know how some safety related devices installed on modern jetliners are responsible of at least three accidents in the last years. Its is true that these system are now a must - and they will become even more important in the future single man cockpit environment or when the Pilots will be controlling the drone-aircraft from the ground - but pilot training in non standard situations should be equally provided. We all know how the training processes of the last few years skipped some maneuvers at the boundary of the flight envelope. What it is still to be understood is something already written by authority in their reports: in a recent one we acknowledge of a pilot of 29 years old holding more than 8000 hrs of flying experience. If it is true he logged almost 1000 hrs every working year and any other comment is irrelevant. Here the report at CNN website. Today in a change.org petition someone notes that, in a recent accident in the former USSR, numerous passengers, including a “passenger of size,” blocked the aisle causing a substantial delay in the evacuation procedure. He also suggests flight attentand operated overhead compartments probably forgetting that also fire extinguishers and other safety items are stored there. I prefer to wait for the Russian commission: they are still very efficient, even after the transformation of KGB. |
