Microsoft launches Blockchain Manager

in #baas5 years ago

Microsoft has announced the launch of its Azure Blockchain service. The Blockchain as a Service (Baas) platform will simplify the "formation, management and governance of Blockchains networks".

Microsoft Azure makes it easy to manage network governance

Frank Shaw, head of corporate communications at Microsoft, said the Azure Blockchain Service offer was launched to allow the creation of a "just a few clicks" consortium.

To begin with, Quorum, JPM's open-source Blockchain platform was therefore the first network structure managed by Azure.

Its technical director Mark Russinovich said:

"Quorum is a natural choice because it is based on the popular Ethereum protocol, which includes the world's largest blockchain developer community."

Azure, the iron spear of Microsoft

Since 2018, Microsoft Azure has expanded its services starting with Azure Blockchain Workbench, which creates Blockchains applications and automates its ecosystem.

This service streamlined application development from a pre-established solution.

In the same year, Microsoft Azure also entered into an agreement with Nasdaq, the second largest stock market in the United States, to take advantage of Blockchain as a financial management network, including improving the speed of its transactions. .
