Meet Indians most remarkable athlete, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, a professional badminton player, with a total earning of $5.5 million, prize money standing at $500,000 and $5 million from endorsements.
Called P.V Sindhu, the 24-year-old is a female Athlete with lots of firsts and that is quite some remarkable feat for a badminton player.
She gained prominence and went pro at the age of 17 when she broke into the top 20 of the BWF World Ranking in September 2012.
She is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal, one of two Indian badminton players to ever win an Olympic medal and first Indian to win the season-ending BWF World Tour finals in 2018. She also won silver in Women's singles at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The badminton star who has endorsements with Bridgestone, JBL, Gatorade, Panasonic and more, remains India’s most marketable female athlete and her records are just beginning to stack up.
