Healthy Whole Wheat Banana-bread is famous Canadian Bread. Today I am sharing this delicious recipe with every one. It tastes heavenly very much like a fruit cake.

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 tea spoon baking soda

½ teaspoon fine salt

1 stick of unsalted room temperatured butter

½ cup white sugar

½ cup brown sugar

2 eggs beaten

1 cup ripe banana pureed

1/3 cup of water room temperature

½ cup raisins

Method

1.In a big bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all purpose flour , baking soda and salt then mix it very well.

  1. In another big bowl add butter, sugar, and eggs mix them very well. Add banana puree and mix. Add half portion of above prepared flour mixture and mix it with banana mixture. Add 1/3 cup of room temperature water, mix well then add remaining flour and mix well. Pour the better in the standard bread loaf pan 9×5 inches.

Preheat Oven on 325 degree Fahrenheit and cook for 50-55 minutes keep checking with a toothpick if raw batter stick on toothpick, let it cook some more time. If it comes out clean, It means your bread cooked. Take it out from the oven let it cool down for 15 minutes on cooling rack then cut the delicious Banana bread loaf in thick slices.

Delicious and mouthwatering Banana-bread is ready to serve. Apply little bit butter on bread slice and enjoy it when it is fresh.
