আজব সমাজ
গড়েন যিনি সমাজপতি,
উন্নতিতে মনোনিবেশ
রাখেন সদা মতিগতি।
দেখেন তিনি মন মুকুরে
জাগ্রত সমাজের প্রতিচ্ছবি,
পরিচালক যদি সঠিক হয়
সমাজের তরে সদা অনুভবি ।
গ্রাম-শহরে ভিক্ষম বৃদ্ধি
করমহীনদের হা হুতাশ,
বেকার জীবন শিক্ষার অপচয়
অন্ন জোগাড়ের অভিলাষ ।
আলোড়নহীন সমাজ তাই
অনুন্নিতির তমসা নিশি,
ঘুন ধরা এই সমাজটাকে
দুর্নীতিবাজ মাখায় মসী ।
আদর্শ আর উপমা দিয়ে
নড়বড় তাই দেশের ভিত,
মৌখিকতায় দেশের বড়াই
নৈতিকতার হয় না জিত । "
