This couple has more class and education in their little fingers than all of the Trumps, Clintons, Obamas, and Bushes of the world combined. They both speak four languages fluently. Dr. Bashar Al-Assad is an ophthalmologist ( eye doctor ) by training. First Lady Asma Al-Assad grew up in London and went to Oxford where she received degrees in computer science and French literature. She worked as an investment banker and was on her way to Harvard for an MBA when she was scooped up by Dr. Assad.

Syria is the only secular state in the Middle East. Christians and other minorities are protected by law and in deed.
