Hello everyone, today I'm going to show you how to use Steemit even when it is down. I'll be showing you three alternatives to Steemit. The Steem blockchain which power Steem is decentralized and there are witnesses who always continue to produce the blockchain even when Steemit get into errors. Lucky for us, there is an alternative interface. Let's get started.

#1 Busy.org

https://busy.org
Busy.org is one of the alternative platforms to the steam blockchain. That means it is the same thing as Steemit but with a different user interface. Busy.org is being sponsored by Steemit. Although they are a competitor in a way, they are favoring the ecosystem. Busy.org was one of the first ones who started. They also came up with Steemconnect which is now being implemented into busy Steemconnect is a way to securely use your private keys in order to log into third-party apps. Busy.org got wallet options. And a search tab to search for specific users. There is overview of people you follow and who have upvoted your post.

One of my favorite feature on Busy.org is there's a bookmark. You can now save a content you find interesting and read it later.

#2 ChainBB

https://chainbb.com

ChainBB same like Busy.org you sign in with the posting key. The things I like most on chainBB is the "Post replies" and how I can quickly look through and see exactly what I would like to reply. One important thing to know with chainBB is when you post content on chainBB, It'll take 15% of your rewards. But you will get the other 85%. There are no percentages taken from comments and upvotes. So this very good alternative whenever Steemit is down.

Another thing I want to mention is, the "All forums" is very easy to see a specific topic. It ranks them in order from the newest comments which can be much easier to see.

#3 eSteem

eSteem is an app for iPhone or an Android phone. You can use eSteem to make all posts directly on the phone. It is best to log in only your posting key. I recommend you do not log in with your master password anywhere. You can add multiple accounts on eSteem for the convenient switch. You can do everything almost as you can do on Steemit. And you can get real-time notifications for each new comments and followers and upvotes. And track your followers. You can secure your profile with additional pin code and Back up your passwords.

Even when Steemit.com won't work you can still browse the Blockchain using these 3 alternatives. If you want you can switch to these websites or you can jump back and forth. I prefer using steemit.com because I'm used to it and I like the way it looks.
