City Detective Police has detained seven youths for mobile theft from home after seeking helpless help. On Wednesday (June 13th) at around 8:30 pm they were arrested from six floors of a building in Hajari Lane Mosque of Kotwali Police Station.

Asif Mohiuddin, Assistant Commissioner of the city's Detective Police confirmed the matter. They were arrested while stealing in a flat in the building. Seven of the seven mobile phones stolen from the detainees have been recovered

Asif Mohiuddin told the Bangla Tribune, "The detainees do two types of work. One group steals mobile, another group steals passengers luggage from different bus counters. We detained four of them while fleeing stealing at a house in Hatir Gali at 8:30 pm on Wednesday night. Later, they were arrested on the basis of information given to them and others arrested. They are preparing to file a regular case in the name of the police.

He further said, "In the initial interrogation, they said they were going to ask for help in various home apartments during a group day. After knocking, open the door and ask for money and help by describing their helpless situation. In this way, if a flat door is open, then steal the mobile and other expensive furniture and quickly sail from the area. The other group was found hanging on the bus counters. If a passenger is a little uncomfortable, then his bag is lost in baggage. '

Asif Mohiuddin said, "In the last few days, they admitted that they have stolen the luggage of a few passengers from AK Khan bus counter."
