East Aceh Great Mosque is one of the society pride mosques of East Aceh that stands majestically in the middle of the City of Idi Rayeuk, the Capital of East Aceh Regency, this mosque is very close to the East Aceh district government office area..
This mosque is very easy to reach from the city center of Idi Rayeuk because it is located right on the edge of a cross-Sumatra highway that connects the Banda Aceh-Medan.
This mosque of the pride of the people of East Aceh was first built in 1960 by relying on alms from the Idi Rayeuk community, until finally after the government established Idi Rayeuk as the capital of East Aceh Regency, the Mosque was taken over and made as the capital's Grand mosque..
